AUDIENDI POTENS!

The Catskill Listening Club is an audio salon that meets once a month in Leeds, NY. Club members bring short pieces of sound or music; everyone listens; we talk about it. Food and Drink is involved.

It’s an informal & safe place to listen, experiment, and learn from each other about sound. You can bring anything to contribute. Some ideas include:

  an interesting thing you heard recently
  an idea for a song
  a song
  a symphony
  a weird field recording
  this
  a sketch for a new instrument or transducer
  a stethoscope

Club members are not required to bring something to share. Each member IS required to be curious about sound and music, and be respectful while others are listening and talking.

All audio enthusiasts and eager listeners of all stripes are welcome.
